There are 7 types of plastic materials:
No. 1 plastic is made of PET;
No. 2 plastic, HDPE material;
No. 3 plastic, PVC material;
No. 4 plastic, PE material;
No. 5 plastic, made of PP;
No. 6 plastic, PS material;
No. 7 plastic, is OTHER (other)

Among these plastics, only No. 1, No. 5 and No. 7 plastics are related to imports and can be used for food packaging!

⑴ First of all, No. 1 material, which is common in life - beverage bottles, mineral water bottles, carbonated beverage bottles, it is a food-grade plastic, the heat-resistant temperature of this material, the maximum temperature is only 70 ℃. 【Note: Do not put hot water in bottles made of this material! After it is heated, it will release a toxic substance DEHP; it is recommended not to recycle this material for a long time, because DEHP will also be released in about 10 months].

⑵ Next, let’s talk about No. 7 plastic. This category contains many materials. This material is commonly used to make plastic products such as baby bottles and cups.
The common and controversial one is the PC material. Because PC (polycarbonate) material contains bisphenol A which is harmful to the human body, the higher the temperature, the more bisphenol A will be released, so it is recommended to use the water cup made of PC material No. 7, not to hold hot water , especially not for hot water over 80°C.
Of course, No. 7 plastic also contains materials that do not contain bisphenol A. When we choose to buy a cup, we can check whether there is a "tritan" logo on the bottom of the bottle. If there is, it means that it does not contain bisphenol A.

(3) Next, let’s talk about No. 5 plastic——PP plastic.
PP is currently recognized as the safest plastic, it ① does not contain bisphenol A, ② can be heated in a microwave oven, ③ can be recycled;
The common ones are lunch boxes, fresh-keeping boxes
[Special attention: Some lunch boxes on the market are made of PP, but the lid is made of another plastic, so when heating, remember to remove the lid before putting it in the microwave! 】
